Founded in 1983 in Biel, Piquot-Méridien was a Swiss watch brand that has since disappeared. The brand remained relatively discreet until the early 1990s, when it began developing a line of sophisticated regatta watches in collaboration with Dubois-Dépraz, the well-known manufacturer of watch modules, in order to create specialized movements designed for regatta sailors. Despite this technical innovation, the brand failed to establish itself in the long term and ceased operations in 1998.
