Longines Heritage - Its history
The Heritage collection is a cornerstone of Longines' strategy, which consists of drawing on its extensive archives to revive classic and timeless designs. The specific model L4.754.4.72.4, also known as the “Longines Column Wheel Chronograph Record,” is inspired by Longines' historic chronographs, whose expertise in this field dates back to 1878. The design, with its silver dial and baton hour markers, reflects the aesthetics of the classic and elegant watches of decades past, typical of the Heritage line. The watch is powered by the automatic caliber L688.2, an exclusive column wheel movement developed for Longines by ETA.
