Rotary has a rich heritage dating back to the late nineteenth century, having established a reputation for reliability, notably as a supplier to the British Armed Forces. The brand was founded in 1895 by Moïse Dreyfuss in the renowned watchmaking town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. During the Second World War, Rotary was selected by the British Ministry of Defence to supply timepieces for its military personnel. After more than a century of family ownership, the brand was acquired by the Chinese Citychamp Group (formerly China Haidian) in 2014 before joining the Peers Hardy Group in February 2025. Today, Rotary is distributed in more than 65 countries and continues to be headquartered in London. The Rotary Legacy “Les Originales” collection represents the brand’s premium Swiss Made range. These timepieces are distinguished by the use of high-quality Swiss components and materials, including the Sellita SW200 automatic movement, a sapphire crystal and a 316L stainless steel case.
