The Heuer Diver 1000 Series 980.025 is an iconic model from the “1000 Series,” a line of dive watches that played a crucial role in helping to save the Heuer brand during the quartz crisis in the early 1980s. This model appears only in the brand’s official catalogue in 1985, just as the company had been acquired by the TAG Group. It is one of the last Heuer dive watches produced during the transitional period between the end of Heuer and the beginning of TAG Heuer. The dial and case back are still signed HEUER, while the bracelet is already signed TAG Heuer.
